Equipping our employees with the relevant skills is critical to business performance. We are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our people; helping us to run the business successfully and continue to grow.

We can help you to realise your potential through a range of methods; for example, work shadowing, coaching, formal training courses or in-house programmes, including Leadership Development. We also offer apprenticeships and trainee schemes and support the study of formal qualifications whilst at work.

Whatever the most suitable method, we endeavour to ensure your individual training and career development needs are regularly identified and met.

New Starters Induction Programme

When you first join, you will attend an Induction Programme to provide you with the basic training needed to perform your job and identify any additional training requirements.

Customer Service with PRIDE

Providing outstanding customer service, maintaining high standards and excellent communication is absolutely critical to us. Our Customer Service training programme ensures that you understand how your role contributes to delivering excellent customer service and how you, personally, can make a difference – something we believe is essential for our continued success.

Performance Development Reviews (PDR)

At least once a year, you will have a PDR with your line manager. This is an opportunity to discuss all aspects of your job, receive feedback and agree any further training needs you may have. Every effort will be made to address these during that year.

In-House Courses

We offer a wide variety of bespoke in-house training courses and programmes to equip you with the essential skills to perform your role and help realise your potential.

We will develop a structured training plan that will ensure you develop the relevant skills and knowledge for your job, at the right pace for you. This may involve working closely with experienced colleagues or through specific training courses.

For those of you seeking to progress into management, we have schemes for both first time and experienced line managers, including one day management skills courses and Leadership Development and Business Strategy Programmes.

IT

Our in-house IT Department can provide a wide range of accredited IT training to support the technical aspects of your job.

Professional Qualifications

We know that in order to grow your role and your knowledge, professional qualifications may be equally important for your career development. We can support relevant professional qualifications and membership of professional associations such as the Institute of Residential Property Managers (IRPM), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to name but a few.

We also have formal programmes to help people achieve recognised qualifications, such as NVQs in Customer Service, Business Administration and House Management.
